Nutrition - Introduction:

Nutrition refers to the way the food we eat nourishes the cells of our body.  Cells have three main parts.  There is an outer membrane holding the cell together.  Within this membrane is a jelly like substance called Cytoplasm. Within the cytoplasm is the nucleus.  All the parts of the cell the membrane, cytoplasm, and nucleus are composed of living matter called Protoplasm.
